This is CNC

These are some CNC’s that I have pieced together. They range from kits to custom built equipment to fit the needs of their application. Most of these machines are located at Berkeley Engineering and Research where we provide expert witness services, litigation support, forensic engineering, and design services.

1m^2 Foam CNC (most recent, in progress)

This machine was abandoned by another person who didn’t have the time to complete this project. The intention for this machine is to cut foam molds. I took on this project hoping to get it up and running for our business.

BOBCAD-CAM CNC

This is a CNC used by 1 or 2 people. It has been fairly neglected and needed a bit of a tune up as well as some kind of manual for other personnel to use. It was pieced together by those 1 or 2 using MachineKit set up on a Beagle Bone. I decided to make a presence in the space.

This is what the room looked like beforehand. CHAOS! Sometimes people just have higher priorities.
